She Suits a Rock

She suits a rock

Star, sitting in the clouds

Dumbed down and dumped, recently

Stony-eyed high on the sofa in the streets

People pass by unnoticing, uncaring

One is a raving lunatic, yelling at strangers

He, too, ignores her

In her mind she is a queen of disguise

No one can see in broad daylight her despondency

He left her, she suits an armor of stone, she sits
